I have lost almost 20 lbs.!
Throughout my life I have struggled with my weight. Trying different ways to lose weight only to gain it back again, plus some.
When I was diagnosed with boarder line diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure I decided it was time to do something about it. Now! For me, my husband, my kids and my grandkids.
Back in October of 2023, Ronni Walker started Pretty Girl Fitness at The Refuge. I signed up for her class. What a blessing it has been. I now workout 4 days a week with Pretty Girl Fitness.
Ronni has also encouraged me to change my eating habits. Making healthier choices with the food I eat along with exercising has really helped me on my weight loss journey.
I feel better, I have more energy, and I am reaching my goals! After losing about 10 lbs. My A1C is normal, my cholesterol is lower, and my blood pressure is where it should be. My size 24 jeans are too big!
Seeing results and feeling good along with Ronni’s encouragement has kept me motivated to stay on the course. I still have a long way to go, but I will get there soon.

Ever since I have started aerobics with my trainer, Ronni, I feel better, and my attitude has gotten better. I’ve been able to lose some of my weight, so this exercise class has been beneficial and an added bonus to my daily routine.
